The motorcycle careened out of the alley, nearly colliding with a crashed truck on its right, turned left onto the main street and sped off down the road, avoiding bodies and weaving through still traffic. There was a steady pulse of hot lead being propelled the opposite direction of the bike’s travel, the weapon being held in the hands of a young woman sitting backwards on the motorcycle. The slender barrel of the nine millimeter Lugar barked as it spat out its ammunition, and illuminated the girl’s face through her helmet. She had put on an equally slender smile. &
